About
Golden Mend Collective is a nonprofit arts organization rooted in the belief that creativity can be a powerful agent for healing, connection, and change. We support artists at the intersection of disability, technology, and creative expression by providing inclusive spaces, shared resources, and opportunities for collaboration. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi—repairing broken pottery with gold—we celebrate the beauty in imperfection and the strength found in community. Through artist-led programs, exhibitions, and public engagement, we amplify underrepresented voices and redefine how art, access, and innovation intersect.
We envision a vibrant creative ecosystem where artists of all abilities thrive through accessibility, mutual support, and cutting-edge tools. By blending traditional crafts with digital media and inclusive design, we challenge conventional ideas of success in the arts and champion a future where more people are seen, heard, and valued. Whether hosting community art shows, offering workshops, or partnering across disciplines, Golden Mend Collective works to mend the broken spaces in our systems—and in ourselves—with care, connection, and gold.
